Morning hunt

Went out this morning to a local park. Did manage to find some clad - a couple of keys and a cross. Pics will in tomorrow as I am letting the items soak to clean them.

Another short hunt

Well I went out again this morning for a short hunt along a creek by the Erie canal. And again I found nothing. 2 areas with a lot of history and nothing to show for the hunts. I did see some trout in the stream so I may have to get my fishing license. Other than that more research.

Short hunt

After Easter brunch I went to a local park with a lot of history and tried a bit of detecting. The park has history dated back to the late 1790's so I was hoping to find something "old". But no luck today as I found only pull tabs, and junk. I will have to give it another shot as I had my daughter with me and she isn't too patient and wanted to get back to the brunch. Hopefully the next time will be the charm.
