I went yesterday afternoon and today in the morning and early afternoon. Didn't find anything old but did find a good amount of clad. Just got too hot to hunt.

Last few hunts

I haven't been keeping track of the finds lately due to finding the silver dime and 1910 wheat penny. I did find another wheat penny today at work - 1944. That is the 4th wheat penny there and 21 overall. Here is a pic of my last few hunts all coins.

Lunch hunt yields silver

I went to hunt again during lunch where I was lucky enough to find a 1910 wheat penny yesterday.  Today I was even luckier and found a 1964 rosie. I'm going to have to keep skipping my lunch if this keeps up. I also found some clad.

On a roll - another wheat

I wanted to hunt my son's current school but they had a sports game going on so I went back to his old school and tried a different area. I managed to find another wheat penny and a zinc penny. That's 20 for the year. Now I hope to start finding some silver.

Lunch break hunt - another wheat

I went out hunting after a quick sandwich just to see what I could find. I managed to find a 1910 wheat penny where I have 2 other wheats. I'm going to have to hunt on lunch break all the time now.

Sunday hunt - another 4 wheat pennies

Started at the local beach early in the morning - didn't find a lot-some clad, an earring and some purple thing. Found out as I was leaving from a worker that 2 other hunters comb the beach as well. That explains the little finds. I went back to my son's old ball field where I've had luck with the wheat pennies and found another 4 1934,44,53 and 56d and the usual clad. So overall not a bad day - I'm going to have to beat those other hunters and find out when they hunt.

yesterday's hunt

I went to a couple of places yesterday in between the rain - once in the morning and again in the evening. Found the usual clad and a 1944 wheat penny where I had the 4 wheat penny day. Clad for the day was 6-q, 6-d, 1-n and 16 pennies - 29 coins.
