WEEKEND HUNT

Saturday got off to a slow start - it was my birthday but the weather was cold in the morning.  I finally met up with D around 10:30 and we tried the woods.   Neither one of us had luck barely finding clad then I had to leave since the family was going to take me to lunch.
Sunday didn't fare much better.  D and I hit the woods again, then tried some different woods then a school.  I managed a wheat penny and clad and that was about it.  Only good thing was that Sunday was a little warmer.   Hopefully this coming weekend will be better if we can get out.

GETTING OLD

Well it's my birthday today - 54 wow I'm getting old.  Been snowing lightly - hoping to get out today and hopefully find a nice birthday gift.

VETERANS DAY HUNT

Had the day off and I got to get out and do a little metal detecting.  After my free breakfast at Denny's I hit the area where I had my century day.  I did manage a mercury dime - wheat pennies and clad.  It was a nice day to get out - temp in the 60's and didn't have to work and got silver.  A nice veterans day.

UP NORTH

I went home this past weekend to see my brother and did very little detecting.  Time just goes by quickly plus it was snowing and cold.  I hunted the park by my hotel and did manage a beat up wheat penny and clad.    I wanted to try a couple of different spots but it also got dark way too soon.   There's always next year.

BROTHER IN TOWN

My brother is in town with my niece at a dance work shop so no detecting Saturday.  Plus it rained in the morning and things were kind of cold.  Always tomorrow -  family comes first.
