Friday morning I met L and we hunted some woods that I've wanted to try. The area has some history so we were hoping to get on old coin or two. No such luck - all we found was a penny(memorial) but we will hit it again. The growth is still kind of thick so it was hard trying to swing the detector. I did manage to find a wheat penny = 1918 I think - outside the woods and a quarter. At lunch I found over a buck 50 and two Canadian coins.
Saturday I hit a park that I haven't hunted in a while. Did okay - found nothing old and later in the day I hit a school and some woods next to the play area. Found some coins but again - nothing old. My take was $2.75.
Sunday morning saw me going to some familiar ground finding my 124th wheat penny for the year. Later in the day I hit a school and found just over a buck in clad. Not much in the way of old coins but did get a nice clad total for the weekend.
