After some research, I took a trip to a park and a school yesterday hoping to find the old stuff. My first place was the park - 2 ball fields and lots of ground - tried for over an hour finding just a few coins. The park looks promising - not sure how old - but may need another attempt. I left there and hit a school that was built back in the 20's. The ground looked original so I was hoping for some old coins. No dice - only clad - I will have to go back and try it again. Overall not a bad clad day finding over 3 bucks and ring #20 - junk. Back to the research table.
