I found only 1 coin today but it was a big one outside a park. This park has a lot of history and I've hunted it several times before with no luck finding older coins. The gate was closed so I hunted the woods near the entrance. Glad I did - I found my first 1800's coin (hopefully a few more) for the year and my 3rd ever large cent copper. Took me by surprise and I don't mind at all about not finding clad. I also found a button and old nail. I will have to get back there now knowing that where's there is one - there should be another.
