TRIED A NEW PARK

I went to a new park about a 1/2 hour from me.  It's a nice park with a stream running through the middle - may have to fish it - but anyway I asked a worker about hunting the park and he said it was okay.  I asked him where the best spot would be and he pointed me on the other side of the stream where another THer had found old coins.  I went to try it but it was still pretty wet and then I noticed the woods.  So I went it there and only find 5 pennies - 2 wheats - I will have to go back and try it again once it dries.  The pennies are in bad shape.

3 WHEAT PENNIES

I managed to sneak in a couple of hunts before and after I saw my brother.  The first hunt was at a school built in the 1930's but only found clad - a whole bunch of dimes - can't believe all the dimes I find at schools.  The second hunt was in my new favorite spot finding the 3 wheat pennies, including my oldest this year and a 1947 nickel.  My day's take was 2 bucks 25 cents.

BROTHER IN TOWN

My brother is in town for the weekend so I don't know if I'll be getting out.  I may give it a shot this morning but may have to wait until the work week.
