My "new" safari arrived this morning - after putting it together and watching some videos, I went to a local school to see how the machine worked - I've hunted this place to death. In about 25 minuets I found 2 silver dimes and a wheat penny - had to stop because of the rain. When the rain stopped I went back to the school - found another 2 silver coins and 4 more wheat pennies. This is my best silver day ever - "old record was 3". I'm still getting use to the VDI numbers - different than the DFX and the sounds. I'm going to have to go back to the spots I've found silver in the past and give it a shot - hopefully I can beat the total of finds from today. Not much in clad - no nickels and lots of stinkin lincolns - got to get better with my numbers.
