I met up with a friend to hunt an area I've done fairly well in. But before I met him I hit a school down the road. Managed to find my first "silver" coin there after finding many wheat pennies - a war nickel but I'll take it. I then met my friend and we hunted in the woods at a park - we ran into another TH - who happens to live by the park. He hunts it everyday and had found a lot of old coins - no wonder I was having a hard time finding turn on the century coins - he was finding them all. I did find 3 wheat pennies but not much else. I thought I had a secret spot but there goes that theory. Back to the drawing board.
