Got out this morning with T and K and we hit a park with an old closed swimming hole. There are lots of trails through the woods and this would be a great spot in the fall. I did manage a mercury dime and wheat penny. It was hot - we all were sweating like crazy. After a couple of hours we met up and decided to try a spot K knew - his uncle's house built back in the 1840's. I never have good luck at this places and today proved no different. I did find a wheat penny but T found a 1834 large cent. That got us motivated to try and some some old silver - not. Still looking for that elusive seated liberty - maybe next time. I got my last few hunts together - hoping this weekend to hit the hot spot if the ground has dried some.
