MY BEST WHEAT DAY
I traveled on Sunday to a new park for me - looked promising on the map but when I got there - first there were guys playing football and second - it looked like the park had been filled. I did hunt next to the tot lot and when I dug - yep filled in dirt - rocks, junk etc. So I hit a spot where an old school had stood and found nothing there.
Monday after spending time with the daughter and son I finally got out to hunt. I hit one of my favorite parks and started out well finding 4 wheat pennies and a zinc. A gentleman I met before came out and asked how I was doing - told him about the wheats and he told me what he had found - barber quarters and an Indian. So I hit an area I barely hunted before - I was hitting wheat after wheat and some clad. I was hoping a silver popped in but no such luck. I ended the day with 10 wheat pennies - a new record for me. I will hit this spot again - maybe some silver will show up. Also found a 1942 nickel.

HAD A GOOD MONDAY
Sunday wasn't a good day but Monday was much better - will have more details when my wheat pennies get done soaking and I can get a picture of them. I was hoping to get silver in the mix but no dice.
