So far this week it's been nothing but rain - thanks to hurricane Sandy. Hopefully I can get out this weekend - Sunday so far is looking like the day - keeping my fingers crossed.

SILVER AND WHEAT WEEKEND
I had a short time to hunt Saturday morning before taking a trip to visit a college my daughter wants to attend. I did manage a wheat penny and other pennies at a local school before I had to go. Got back late afternoon and tried the woods only finding a clad dime.
Sunday it was not raining but had a mist in the air. I wanted to try an area I've had luck before with the minelab just to see if I could find anything deep. I had some luck finding a Washington quarter and a silver ring. My only finds but I'll take it. Hurricane Sandy is moving up the coast - the rain is supposed to start tonight and last until Friday. At least the ground will be soft.
