It was back up north on July 4th for the family reunion.  And I hunted the local school again and had a decent day finding a wheat penny and over a buck 75 in clad.  But it's always good to see the family again as another 4th goes in the history books.

SHORT WEEKEND DUE TO RAIN

I met up with T on Saturday after another rain storm and we hit an area where I've had a dime trifecta.  We hunted for a bit on the soggy ground until it started raining again so we got in our vehicles until it stopped.  We tried it again for about 20 minutes then the second downpour came and it didn't let up.  Done for the day but I did manage to find a Canadian large cent 1884 along with a wheat penny.
Sunday I went back to T's park - this time no silver but I did get a V nickel, 3 wheat pennies and lots of clad including 27 dimes.  Most were close to the surface but I made it a bit easier for T to find those older coins.
