MOSTLY A CLAD DAY

I went to one of my old spots - wanted to try the 15" coil to see if I could find some deeper coins - I did but they were all clad.   I did find a silver ring - beat up though as it were hit by the lawn mower.   I moved to a different location - I managed to find 2 wheat pennies there along with the usual clad.  It got hot so I quit by noon.  I'm hoping to try the gold panning soon. Still trying to find spots.

SILVER SATURDAY AND FILM DEBUT

THE ONE FINDING THE COIN THE FILE IS TOO BIG TOO SHOW

I hit a park that I've hit before with D and T.  They have both found barber dimes there and yesterday was my turn as I found my first silver there - a barber dime along with 3 wheat pennies and clad..  I brought my handcam and tried to film some.  Well I know I won't be winning any academy awards soon but it's not as easy as it seems - plus the sun does make it hard to see the screen.  Of course glasses would help too - boy getting old sucks.
