THE WEEKEND
Saturday morning I got a late start with the cold weather and an appointment but did go to a spot with lots of history. Wasn't expecting to find much and didn't - I wanted to get into the woods but everything was posted. So clad was it.
Sunday I hit my current hot spot - no silver but did manage wheat pennies and clad. Then later I met up with T and we hit a spot where I've had luck before. T managed a mercury dime and wheats while I had wheat pennies. So far the weather has been good so I hope to get out again this long weekend.

UP NORTH
I went back to my home town this past weekend - saw my brother and going to the church bazaar. Didn't get much of a chance to hunt - Saturday was just too cold and hit a park for about half and hour Sunday and found nothing. But I did celebrate my birthday and saw some friends - the hunting will have to wait.

VETERANS DAY HUNT
I had the day off yesterday to celebrate Veteran's day (Navy vet) and I hit the area where I had my 4 silver day. I did manage to find another 3 silver dimes along with 10 wheat pennies and clad. Not a bad day at all - my new "hot spot". That's 11 silver coins and lots of wheat pennies so far. Hope it keeps on giving.

4 SILVER SATURDAY
After getting skunked last Sunday I made up for it today by finding 4 silver coins, 7 wheat pennies and some clad. I didn't hunt long since I had some things to do with the children. I will have to get back to this spot when I can hunt it longer. I did find some older Jefferson nickels but I'm not going to save them - put them in the change pile. Also found a ring.

SILVER HALLOWEEN - SKUNK SUNDAY
Now with the moist ground I hit a park I've had luck with before. My first coin was a mercury dime then not much after that. I wanted to stay longer but this park is by some woods and gunshots were going off so I thought it best to leave - you never know.
Sunday morning it rained after the rain stopped I hit some woods close to home. I knew finding something was remote and as it turned out - right. Did not find a single thing. I left the woods to nearby park then realized I left my pin pointer in the woods. So back in I went and did find it then decided to call it a day.
