NO SILVER BUT SOME NICE FINDS

Saturday was my daughter's birthday and I only had a couple hours to hunt, 1- for her lunch and 2 - little league showed up so I had to leave but I did find a nice old coin - my first. It was a French coin Napoleon III cinq - 5 centimes - 1855 and some clad.

Sunday I tried a spot with the new AT Max and attack coil hoping for some deep silver. No silver but did find a couple of nice nickels and a wheat penny along with some clad. I hunted there for a few hours - I forgot my head phones and then met up with S at a park. Only found a penny there but S found a buffalo nickel. Not much in the coin department but some nice finds.

AN EXTRA DAY - SAME RESULTS

Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend - Saturday I was a little under the weather after having a kidney stone blasted. I met up with S later in the day at a local park - just found some clad.
Sunday I hit a local school - found some wheat pennies and clad. Later in the day went to my sister in-laws for a cook out and found I think is a broach.
Sunday was back to a school and found another wheat along with clad. Been in a silver slump - need to get out of that soon.

ANOTHER NORMAL WEEKEND

Saturday I hit a local school because the rains were coming - manage just clad then had to wait for the rain to stop then I hit a local park. I found more clad and 2 wheat pennies.
Sunday more of the same as I hit another school before the rain then met up with S at a local park. I found a wheat, clad, bus token and cheap watch. At least 2 of my wheat pennies were in the teens.

DECENT WEEKEND

Saturday I went to a spot where T was having some luck and met him later in the day. I did manage lots of clad and neither of us found old coins. I did get a button but that was it.
Sunday was mother's day so I spent time with the wife and her family.   I did get out a bit for the afternoon and found 4 wheat pennies and clad. I plan on hitting the road and try some new areas - the spots here have been hit hard.

BROTHER IN TOWN

My brother was in town this past weekend for my niece's dance recital. I did get a chance to detect as thanks to the sun coming up early - I got out before we met. I did manage lots of clad along with a couple of wheat pennies. I will be seeing him again shortly as my niece graduates from high school next month.

A WEEKEND I'D RATHER FORGET, BUT I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER

Saturday started off as a normal day - feeding the dog in the morning then heading out to detect. My first spot was a park but it was woods, well brush with trails. The brush was so thick there was no way to swing a detector in there so I hit another area of woods where I found 2 pennies. Then I met up with S and found more pennies and some dimes.
I got home and the wife was worried about the dog - he wasn't looking right so we brought him to th3 vet - where he later vomited a ton of blood and he had to put him down. We had a good 13+ years with him but I miss him so.
Sunday it rained all day and so it was house cleaning and removing all my dog's things. A weekend I would like to forget, but I will always remember my puppy.
