STILL HERE

 Been a while since I last posted but I haven't found anything to show.  I have been getting out - just this past weekend and I did manage some wheat pennies but not much else.  Now that we have had a ton on rain I hope this will help with digging and deeper targets. 

BEEN A WHILE - QUARTERS FINDS

 

 I have been getting out and I have had some luck - found 3 silver quarters and wheat pennies.   For some reason I'm not into the detecting season as I would like to be.  But I will get out on the weekends for some peace of mind.

A VERY GOOD WEEKEND - AGAIN

 

 

Yesterday a friend and I hit some woods with a lot of history and we discovered some of it.  We both found silver and some wheat pennies.  We know there are more older coins to be found - hopefully next trip.  I found my second ever Barber quarter.

Last weekend I managed to find some silver along with an 1800's Indian head penny.  I need to update my coin total which I plan on doing this week.

TRIFECTA WEEKEND

 

 

 Saturday I went to a park where I had found silver before and it did not disappoint.  I found a Merc and a Rosie plus a couple of beat up wheat pennies.  

Sunday I went out with a friend and tried a park we both had detected many times - nothing.  Then we hit some woods where he found a silver quarter and barber dime and I found a barber dime.   A 3 silver weekend - I'll take it.

GOT SILVER

 I managed to get out this weekend finally finding some silver on Easter Sunday.   I found a Washington quarter along with some wheat pennies. 

Saturday I went into the woods and found only a penny.   It was a little cool but getting out was nice.

Another weekend hunt that lead to some wheat pennies and clad.   I hope to try some different spots this weekend and get back on the board with some silver.

COOL BUT BETTER WEEKEND

 The weekend started out cool but ended nicely with temps in the 60's.  As for finding anything only wheat pennies and clad.  I need to start branching out to different spots and do some travel.  I will have to get my coin total which I've been slacking on.
