A GOOD LUNCH HUNT

I didn't find anything old but did have a good clad total yesterday - my co-worker found another wheat penny using the delta - he's getting better at finding coins.  My take was over 2 bucks.

PARK AND LUNCH HUNT

After all the rain I was finally able to get out and do some hunting.  My feet got pretty soaked at the park and I managed to only find 20 cents - a 1954 nickel was my oldest coin and at lunch time I found 72 cents for a total of 92 cents.

ANOTHER SILVER

Started the day in the valley at my school - found 3 wheats along with some clad, ring #3 - silver and a token - 2003 national champs - Syracuse basketball.    Then I decided to hit my new favorite spot for the week and found a Washington quarter 44-d.  I also found a wheat penny - 1937.  This spot has been good to me but I think I've hunted it out since it's a small area, but I will give it a go again after a good rain.

TIED BEST SILVER DAY AND MORE

Well I tied my best silver day finds with 2  -- merc dimes - 1937 and 1942 plus I found an Indian head penny - 1908 - my second -  a buffalo nickel - 1920 my second,  and a wheat penny 1942.  This is my best day ever with finding old coins.  I started the day in the woods where I found nothing and ending up at one of my son's school finding the old stuff.  I did try a city school near the valley but only found 27 cents and a ton of junk.  I did do a lunch hunt yesterday and found 55 cents.  The clad total was low but that's okay - I'll take the older coins anytime.

QUICK LUNCH HUNT

Finally went out at lunch - no rain or games and I let my co-worker use my IDXpro while I used the delta.  I found a whooping 27 cents and so did my co-worker, but he found 2 wheat pennies - his first and second  a 1941 and 1948 and a ring.   Well that will be enough of that - got to give him back the delta.

JUST A PARK HUNT

I hit my favorite park in the morning and was planning the usual lunch hunt but a wicked thunderstorm hit knocking out power and flooding the area so there went that.   I did have a decent hunt at the park - the ground was wet from the night before and I was hoping to find some silver - no luck but did find a wheat penny and $2.93 in clad.  Another storm is predicted for today.
