With the second aftermath of a hurricane to hit the area, the rain has been horrible.  We probably got over 5 inches yesterday and it's supposed to rain again today.  I did manage to get a lunch hunt in Tues. finding just over a buck 50. At least the ground will be nice and soft for digging.

I didn't get out much this week working 10 hour plus days, 2 lunch hunts and limited hunting on the weekend.  I did however find my 23rd silver coin and 118th wheat penny today which made up for the rough week.  I hope to get back on schedule and get some good hunting in.  My take for the week was slightly over 2 bucks.

SATURDAY HUNT

I went to a school I haven't hunted in a while and had a decent day. I found over 3 bucks in clad and 5 wheat pennies.  Silver is on the horizon - I hope.  Then I hit my favorite school but the bugs were eating me alive so I didn't stay long after finding a couple of coins.   Sunday was a complete "wash" due to the hurricane.

SLOW WEEK CONTINUES

My slow week continues - not much hunting at all.  I did manage a wheat penny(pic later) and under 30 cents in change but that's it.  Not really worth posting yet - hope to due better at lunch today - weather permitting.

SLOW WEEKEND - DID FIND SILVER #22

Saturday I got permission to hunt a couple of new areas - the first looked promising but didn't produce while the second area I found a Merc and 2 wheat pennies. Will be going back to that spot. Very low clad count finding only 37 cents.

Sunday I did a little better in the clad department just finding over a buck in change.  I also found another wheat penny and a Canadian penny.   It was a slow day trying to get out and hunt between the downpours.
