MAYBE LAST HUNT FOR THE YEAR??

I did manage to get out a bit on Saturday though it started cold.   I had a nice day finding 2 silver and 3 wheat pennies plus a couple of religious items.  I wanted to get out Sunday but the wind chill was too cold.  Now with the snow it's a waiting game to see if it melts before the end of the year.

The weather is colder (of course) since I'm off work for a few days but I do plan on getting out. Hopefully I can get back on the silver trail again.

COLD WEEKEND

The weekend was cold - Saturday I didn't even attempt a hunt. Sunday I waited a bit and got out with T.  We hit some woods first then a park.   My only coin was a wheat penny very deep.  The park grounds were very soft and wet.  The weather should be warmer this week and weekend so looking forward to that.

FINALLY GOT SOME SILVER

Well my silver drought ended in a big way Saturday - I found a walking liberty half dollar - it was unexpected as I thought I found a quarter the way it rang up.  I'll take it.  
Sunday I hit another local park with a friend and found an Indian head penny plus lots of clad.

I'm in a silver slump but the wheat pennies keep me going.  I got an added bonus finding myself a large cent, my first in a while hunting an old church.. T got permission,  he found an Indian head penny so we both did well.  Hopefully this weekend I can get back in the silver column.
