I met up with my friend T on Monday and he wanted to try a new area to hunt. It looked promising - the area had some good history to it but it wasn't what we expected. I did manage a clad quarter there then we tried a place that I knew where a old church had been - the foundation is still there but the weeds were too high - couldn't swing the detectors so we tried a park where I've had luck with silver. We found no silver but I did find a wheat penny and .76 cents. We may give it another shot this weekend.
