With over a foot of snow yesterday I think it's pretty safe to say that the 2012 metal detecting season is over. What a difference from last year. I don't think I'll be hunting anytime soon in January either. The snow is here to stay a while. So I guess it's time to do some research and get permission to hunt some properties for future hunts.
