I met up with J and D and another hunter J we tried a school that has been around awhile. The ground was mostly fill but J#1 did find a flat button. Not finding much we tried along the erie canal but the grass was too high and a shut down factory but it has a blue state sign saying it was historical so we hit a park. This park was at a lock along the canal and again nothing. We hit a park D has hunted before and a guy riding his bike said we could hunt his house which was built back in the 1800's. Nothing there and only a few of wheat pennies at the park. D and J#2 found them and then J#2 had to go. D had another spot in mind and J found a wheat. Overall the four of us found little clad and just 5 wheat pennies. The spots looked great but we just couldn't find anything. Just one of those days.
