It was kind cool and wet in the morning but I went to a spot I've hunted before. Had some luck there but yesterday I had a great day. I found a barber dime and my first coin spill of old coins. In the spill were 2 mercs, 1 Indian penny, 4 buffalo nickels and 7 wheat pennies and part of a coin holder. I also found another merc and clad. I'm glad I didn't let the weather stop me - hopefully today will be another "great" day. I finally went over a dollar in clad but I'll take the older coins anytime.
